Testimonials from participants

We have already had several Cybercourses. How did the participants evaluate it?

The course is great not only for those who want to pursue cyber security professionally, but also for educators and trainers.
Thanks to the well-prepared lectures and the opportunity to try out various technical things in practice, I have gained an overview of all the components of cyber security and know how to better prepare children at school for various dangers.
Thanks to everyone at the Cybercourse!

Mgr. Veronika Fořtová
teacher and ICT coordinator, Emil Kolben Primary School

I've been in the world of cybersecurity for a while now, although most of the time I deal more with the aftermath of attacks in criminal proceedings.
Thanks to the course, I learned a lot of new things, but most importantly, I learned that there is a lot I don't know and that I need to keep learning!
Also, the course has restored my passion for my work, which made me decide to change my career towards cyber security management/management.
The instructors were great and if there is another course (e.g. OSINT, Cybersecurity Architect, etc.) I definitely plan to join.
Thanks to the trio L. Osmera - P. Matějíček - R. Trávníček who made the course unforgettable without exaggeration.

Mgr. Dominik Miler
Criminal proceedings preparer, Police

Even though I am dedicated to the field of cybersecurity, the Cybercourse has taken me a step further and deepened my expertise.
I had to make room on my calendar for a whole month, but it was richly worth it!
I appreciate the patience of the instructors during the hands-on exercises, the friendly atmosphere and the professionalism.

Frequently asked questions

To what extent are servers addressed in the course? Just right – even if you have no experience with them, you will learn how to administer them and the individual services, understand the principles of their operation and, most importantly, learn how to secure them so that your operation is not hacked by attackers.

I am frightened by the condition of the Labour Office that in case of failure to complete the exam, the course is paid entirely by me. It is also in our interest to have as many successful graduates as possible, so the whole course is designed to prepare you for the final exam and you pass it successfully. It won’t be giving, but if you’ve been paying attention, you will pass the exam.

Will the courses be in the afternoon or in the morning? Courses will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. We will not be implementing evening dates after all.

Do I have to be unemployed to take the course? No, it is possible to take the course as an employee or self-employed person and the Office will still reimburse you for it after completion.

If I miss a day, will there be a record? Yes, there will be a record of each day that will be available to you up to a year after you have completed the Cybercourse. However, you need to meet at least 80% attendance to meet the UI requirements, so don’t rely on peeking at everything on the record.
